The Warren County Foundation announces the Cunningham Institute for Growth has awarded a $10,000 Impact Grant to the Warren County Foundation Forever Endowment in Honor of Park and Ethel Gast, long-time Warren County leaders. The Forever Endowment supports the Foundation's Mission of improving the quality of life in Warren County by protecting the Endowment's Principle by growing the Principal for the benefit of Warren County residents today and for future generations yet unborn.
The Impact Grant's focus is to supply long-term support to ensure implementation of the Warren Foundation's Board Approved Forever Endowment Sustainability Process (ESP) 3 Essential Policies. These Policies include 1. Protect the Principal, 2. Spending Policy, and 3. Quantitative and Visual Analysis Policy.
The Warren County Foundation awarded five $10,000 impact grants in 2020. During the first four years of the program, 18 impact grants have been awarded. Impact Grants are one of the goals of the 2016 Strategic Plan for the Foundation. The five Impact Grants were awarded to Beech Acres Parenting Center; Countryside YMCA; Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Inc.; Warren County Imagination Library Endowment; and Waynesville Area Heritage and Cultural Center at the Friends Home, Inc.
The Cunningham Institute for Growth LLC (CIG) has a national goal to restore the American Dream by restoring long-term 3% economic growth for ALL Americans. The Institute's model is two-fold, both a national goal and grassroots initiatives. The national goal is restoring long-term 3% growth for ALL Americans, including setting up the necessary policies and processes to achieve this goal. At the same time, grassroots initiatives support the national goal by initiatives customized for specific communities and regions, typically involving collaborations with organizations located in those communities.
