Warren County First Responders Fund

The 1st Annual Ohio First Responders Tournaments have been postponed until the fall of 2021 because of COVID-19.

The Warren County First Responders Fund has been established to provide financial assistance to the families of Warren County Police, Fire, EMS, and Sheriff employees. The funds are being used in the case of hardship caused by extended illness or work-related injury to first responders across Warren County. An oversight committee is being formed to review and make awards. The committee will include volunteers and representatives of the Police, Fire, EMS and Sheriff  Departments.

Initial fundraising has started across the County. This included individual, organization, foundation, and business commitments and potential fundraising events.

This first annual state-wide First Responders basketball and volleyball tournaments will be held this fall. The basketball tournament is set for September 12-13 and the volleyball tournament will be held on October 3-4. The tournaments will be held at Courts-4-Sports in Mason and other locations as needed. The proceeds from the tournaments will go to the Warren County First Responders Fund.

Tournament sponsors include: Miami Valley Gaming; Warren County Convention & Visitors Bureau; Warren County Foundation; and Courts-4-Sports.
