The Warren County Foundation in cooperation with the Duke Energy Foundation made eleven Small Business Assistance Grants in the Franklin-Carlisle, Ohio area. The Duke Energy Foundation Small Business Assistance/Hometown Revitalization Grants program is made possible from a $25,000 grant to the Warren County Foundation.
The news conference and check presentation were held on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at the Anderson Life Celebration Center in Franklin. Applications were submitted for consideration by the selection committee including representatives from the City of Franklin, City of Carlisle, Franklin Township, Chamber 45005, and the Warren County Foundation. Eleven Small Business Grants were made with six at $3,000 and five at $1,400.

The recipients of the grants include: Amara Salon & Day Spa; Area Athletics; B-Safe Driving Education; Busy J’s Inc. Dairy Queen; DoublePlay Records & Retro; Farm on Central; Fur Ree Friends Grooming Salon; Pisanello’s Pizza; Revolution Group Fitness, LLC; Simply Brown Tanning & More; and Stone Valley Meadows.
“We appreciate the support from the Duke Energy Foundation, the collaboration from the Franklin-Carlisle area,” stated Tom Seddon, President & CEO, Warren County Foundation, “and are glad we can help area small businesses.”
The Warren County Foundation recently received a second grant for $15,000 from the Duke Energy Foundation for additional Small Business Assistance/Hometown Revitalization Grants in the Morrow and surrounding townships in southeast Warren County. The grants will be awarded in early 2023.
