Grants at Warren County Foundation 

The Warren County Foundation offers a variety of competitive grant opportunities throughout the year for nonprofits making an impact in our region.

Discretionary Grants 

Support for immediate Community Needs.

 

Discretionary grants provide flexible funding for projects addressing immediate or unforeseen needs in Warren County. These grants help nonprofits respond quickly to emerging opportunities or challenges.

 

Applications are reviewed every two months.

 

Deadlines: December 15th February 15th April 15th June 15th August 15th and October 15th

Impact Grants

The Impact Grant, awarded once annually in December, supports projects that improve health, safety, and welfare in Warren County while reducing barriers to social, cultural, economic, and educational resources. Priority is given to initiatives benefiting families and children or promoting economic development. Collaborations between organizations are also favored in the selection process.

 

Deadline: October 15th

Environmental Forum

The Forum supports local projects that promote conservation and sustainable practices through education, community engagement, and grants. Funding is awarded to individuals or businesses making a positive environmental impact in Warren County.

 

Examples include: rain gardens, biodegradable products, composting, recycling, and other green initiatives.

Women’s Fund

The Women’s Fund supports programs that drive lasting change and improve the lives of women and girls in Warren County. Each fall, qualified organizations can submit proposals for review. The Grant Review Committee selects 3–4 finalists to present their proposals to the Fund’s membership, who then vote to decide how funds are awarded. This member-led process ensures community voices help shape local impact.

Energy Farm

Duke Energy Small Business Assistance Grants

Administered by the Warren County Foundation for small businesses in Mason, Ohio

​

  • Grants of up to $5,000 to support a small business.

  • Applications will be reviewed by representatives from the City of Mason, the MADE Chamber, the Small Business Development Center, and the Warren County Foundation.

  • Applications must be submitted by September 30, 2025.

Mary Ann Klingling Trust Fund

The Mary Ann Klingling Trust Fund is administered through the Warren County Foundation.  It assists private (non-governmental) entities that provide services to troubled or at-risk juveniles living in Warren County, Ohio, including but not limited to providing education, maintenance and support.

Grant awards can range from $1,000 to $15,000.
