Non-Profit Organization Fund

"Cook Family Fun Day started working with the Warren County Foundation 10 years ago. It was the best decision we ever made working with the foundation. The ease of doing business and the professionalism is second to none."

-– Dale Brunner, CEO, YMCA of Greater Dayton

For non-profit organizations with existing endowment funds the Warren County Foundation:  â€‹

  • Provides professional oversight of investments and assumes fiduciary responsibility for them.  This provides an extra level of security for the organization.  Also, it allows the organization’s staff and volunteers to spend more time raising money and less time doing the accounting, investing and reporting tasks.

  • Includes the organization’s funds with the large amount managed by the Foundation, which can lead to reduced investment costs for the organization and, with some investments, increased returns.

  • Provides reports on investment performance versus recognized benchmarks and versus other investment options to assist the organization in making decisions.

For non-profit organizations that want to conduct endowment or capital campaigns the Warren County Foundation assists in accepting and managing donations by:

  • Providing a secure Post Office Box to receive donations to reduce risk exposure and the potential for mishandling.

  • Providing the organization with summary reports of donations – as often as weekly

  • Accepting gifts made not only by check but also by stocks, bonds, mutual funds, life insurance, IRA charitable transfers, and gifts provided by will or trust.

  • Managing multi-year pledges and pledge follow-up.
