WARREN COUNTY FOUNDATION - COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARDS

The 2010 Warren County Foundation Community Service Awards, for the third year, will recognize individuals and organizations that are making Warren County a better place to live through their service.

Nominations are due by March 5, 2010. Awards will be presented at a banquet to be held April 21, 2010 at the Manor House in Mason, Ohio.

George R. Henkle Philanthropy and Community Service Award

Presented to a Warren County resident who exhibits enthusiasm, integrity and perseverance beyond the ordinary to help fellow citizens, the community, and the world through selfless giving - be it talent, money, or time.

Emerging Leader in Community Service Award

Presented to a Warren County resident who –

• Has recently emerged as a leader in community service
• Has outstanding skills which are generously given
• Demonstrates leadership and inspires others
• Serves as a role model for the next generation of community service volunteers

Outstanding Organization Award

Presented to a Warren County non-profit organization which:-  

• Has been providing services for at least five years
• Serves as a role model for other organizations in being dedicated to its mission and operating at the highest professional standards
• Has made significant and measurable contributions to enhancing the quality of life in Warren County

Emerging Organization Award (New for 2009)

Presented to a Warren County non-profit organization which –

• Has been providing services fewer than five years
• Serves as a role model for other emerging organizations for being dedicated to its mission and for operating at the highest professional standards
• Has already made significant and measurable contributions to enhancing the quality of life in Warren County.
