Moving Forward
With Confidence
The Warren County Foundation is entering a new chapter—rooted in community trust, guided by experienced leadership, and committed to transparency every step of the way.
At our recent Annual Meeting, the Board of Trustees elected Maggie Hess as Board Chair, continuing the Foundation’s tradition of steady, thoughtful leadership. Maggie, together with Interim President & CEO Mike McGinty and Chief Financial Officer Tim Nusbaum, is overseeing the final stages of the Foundation’s comprehensive financial reconciliation with Brixey & Meyer, our independent accounting partner. This deliberate and detailed work—now nearing conclusion—reflects our ongoing commitment to accountability and sound stewardship.
We are deeply grateful for the patience and trust of our fundholders, partners, and community as we complete this important process. The Foundation’s mission-driven work continues each day—supporting local nonprofits, awarding grants, and investing in the quality of life that makes Warren County such a special place to call home.

Rachel Sheets, Directore of Development & Communication, Abilities First
"The Warren County Foundation's generous grant to the Abilities First Summer Camp has helped make it possible to expand our summer program in 2025 from 42 spots to 150 spots! Thanks to this support, we have been able to prepare three kid-themed, month-long day-camps designed with young children with autism and other differing abilities in mind. Not only does this allow us to provide more fun, engaging activities and lessons for the children in our Autism Learning Center, but the Summer Camp also provides critical resources and respite for parents and caregivers while also offering essential continuity of services for the kids."
