The Warren County Foundation continues to work with the City of Lebanon on a variety of projects. The Foundation continues to provide administrative backroom support for the Lebanon Civic Fund. The Fund was established by council to manage charitable contributions for the City. The Fund supports area non-profits that make a difference to Lebanon and its citizens.
The Fund committee recently met and reviewed proposals for grants. Seven grants totaling $19,500 were approved and awarded to: Artscape Lebanon; Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce; Lebanon Theatre Company; Lebanon Optimist Club; Rotary Club of Lebanon; LifeWise Lebanon; and Warren County Imagination Library.
The committee reviewed the utility credits approved in 2024 for $116,200 to ten organizations: Artscape Lebanon; Family Promise of Warren County; Humane Association of Warren County; Lebanon Council of Garden Clubs; Lebanon Public Library: Lebanon Theatre Company; SAFE on Main; Warren County Historical Society; Warren County Drug Task Force; and Warren County Agricultural Society. It should also be noted that the City of Lebanon provides city services to non-profits and programs totaling close to $65,000 per year.
Foundation President & CEO Tom Seddon noted: “The Lebanon Civic Fund is another example of local government working with local non-profits. We truly appreciate our relationship with the City of Lebanon.” You can address inquiries or questions to the Warren County Foundation at 513-934-1001 or or e-mail [email protected].
