Funding Recipients
"We are grateful to be recipients of WCF funding to serve children in Warren County in need of a one-to-one mentor to help them achieve success in school and life. The values of the WCF align with our mission and allow us to bring exceptional services to Warren County families. The WCF was instrumental in providing funding during COVID to ensure children and families in Warren County received academic support, access to mental health services and basic needs to keep families healthy through the height of the pandemic."

"1. As a small non-profit that relies on a patchwork of funding to support our services in the community, the Warren County Foundation grants have been instrumental in supporting the Child Advocacy Center of Warren County’s mission to provide a team response to child abuse and neglect through intervention and education. As a recipient of several funding opportunities, we have been able to provide specialized services to over 3500 children and their nonoffending caregivers, trained nearly 2000 adults in child abuse prevention, and increased our outreach awareness about child abuse throughout all of Warren County.
2. We want to thank the Women's Fund of the Warren County Foundation for providing financial support of our program at the Child Advocacy Center of Warren County (CACWC). Your direct service support helps us to further our mission in delivering high quality, specialized services, and onsite trauma focused counseling to approximately 400 children each year. Thank you for your commitment to not only our program, but the other amazing programs in our community that impact women and children."

"The Arts Alliance is extremely grateful to the Warren County Foundation for their support of the organization. From their recognition of The Arts Alliance as the Emerging Organization of the Year to their support of our efforts through the Covid crises, the Warren County Foundation has made a significant impact in our success and longevity.
As each business, organization, and non-profit navigated through the Covid crises, the Warren County Foundation offered the opportunity to survive that tumultuous time. The generosity of the Warren County Foundation, in partnership with the Greater Cincinnati Foundation, offered grants that lifted us and took us through a time when we were unable to offer our programming and had zero income making opportunities. The Warren County Foundation offered a respite and hope to know that survival of the organization was on the other side of the pandemic.
Thank you to the Warren County Foundation for their support, not only as a monetary contributor, but for their moral support and guidance throughout the years."

"Adult New Readers program is excited to partner with the Warren County Foundation and the Warren County Imagination Library to provide free books to children from birth to the age of five. This partnership enhances our overall goal which is to help parents to learn to read and thus the parents being able to read to their children. Parents of children receiving Imagination Library books say they read together more often and this activity, coupled with close adult-child interaction using Imagination Library activities, improves adult literacy and child learning development. With the impact grant we receive from Warren County Foundation we can continue this focus of literacy bringing families closer."

"The COVID grant funding that was provided by the Warren County Foundation to Family Promise of Warren County touched every area of need in the early days of the pandemic. With this funding FPWC was able to continue to provide services to our families in crisis of homelessness in a way that was safe for all. The support that the Warren County Foundation provides is vitally important to the nonprofit sector in Warren County and all that we serve."

"I truly view the WCF as a great partner to our Y. The investment made in impact grants over the past couple of years has allowed us to grow our Veterans Connect program and provide greater service to those that have served and defended our nation. The funding from the WCF has allowed us to positively impact veterans in our county mentally and physically, and the investment allows us to strategically plan for growth and service to more veterans as awareness of the program grows.
The WCF also invested in our ForEverWell program assisting Countryside Y in providing senior programming in a safe environment that is focused on physical fitness, mind strengthening, chronic disease prevention, and social engagement. The impact grant from WCF resulted in our Y staff being able to help seniors in our county thrive and live a better quality of life by improving their health, both physically and mentally. The funding truly made a difference in our ability to engage with seniors and keep them from feeling isolated and alone. The funding from the recent impact grants is greatly appreciated and the positive impact can easily be seen in the lives of veterans and seniors in our county. Thank You!"

"Warren County Children Services very much appreciates the support we have received in securing a Therapy Dog for our agency. We were able to purchase Winnie in June 2022 with the assistance of private donors, the Warren County Foundation, and the Warren County Commissioners. Winnie is owned by the county and is cared for by one of our agency supervisors. She is continuing to make great progress in her training and is expected to become fully certified at which time her job responsibilities will increase to include working directly with children during times of crisis and trauma. We have already received commitments from many of our community partners, such as Warren County Juvenile Court and the Child Advocacy Center of Warren County, who are agreeable with having Winnie come to their agencies to meet with children as needed. Winnie has already brought comfort to our staff on hard days and she will no doubt have this same impact on the children we serve."

"We love Warren County as we are lifetime residents. We were introduced to the Warren County Foundation by a good friend, Chuck Dilgard, in 2004. For us, it was an opportunity to connect with this organization . Our membership has strengthened our belief in what the Bible says... LOVE YOUR NEIGHBORS... by sharing with others. The WCF knows how to reach out to the community. For us... it is a blessing to be... a friend of this program."

"The Kevin C. Barnhill Memorial Scholarship Fund continues to be blessed by its collaboration with the Warren County Foundation as we continue to expand the community outreach missions of the Fund.
Now entering our 16th year of association, the ability to focus the efforts of the Trustees and volunteer working groups of the Fund on fundraising initiatives maximizes their efforts. The Warren County Foundation seamlessly assumes the responsibilities of Fund administration, reporting and accounting which is essential to maintaining the transparency and viability of the Fund for its contributors.
The 501c3 status of the WCF affords the Barnhill Memorial Fund access to grant opportunities for which it would not otherwise be considered. That fact and the unqualified support and counsel of the chief administrators, Tom Seddon and Mike Mansbridge, has been invaluable. We look forward to a rewarding relationship with the Warren County Foundation for years to come."

"In 1867 Mary Ann Klingling started to help at-risk youth in Warren County. Over the years since then the needs and the modes of helping our youngsters have changed dramatically, but Mary Ann’s assets are continuing to serve youth in need in the county through the Klingling Fund of the Warren County Foundation. Five advisors annually review requests for support from groups serving at-risk youth and make awards of over $30,000 annually to respond to current needs. The Foundation provides valuable tax, staff, investment and record keeping support for the Fund."
